Koivu is a small talking parakeet with a bright yellow head, cobalt blue cere (nose), and light green/blue/gray body. Curious, social, and comfortable around people. Last seen around Prospect Place / Fort Greene area. May approach balconies, windows, or people offering water, millet or lettuce leaves (any kind). Responds to his name, ‘good day,’ ‘good bird.’ Will chirp back if you call “Koivu, where are you?.”
If seen, please do not chase. Try to keep eyes on him, offer water/millet/lettuce leaves, and contact immediately.
