Thank you for your kindness and helpful resources. I got a response today from my color picture ad today provided by a local weekly newspaper. Unfortunately Skeeter was found deceased a couple of days ago beneath a Magnolia tree in an industrial park area about one mile south/slightly east of my home. He seems to have sought out a quieter area away from the traffic and residences. I live in a more heavily treed area in every direction except the way he went. Also due to having another pet requiring critical care my search effort was greatly hindered. I was able to see him briefly and though devastated I am grateful he is not suffering now
or fallen into the wrong hands. I loved him dearly though only having him for one year.
He was taken from me against my will by his previous owner and released accidentally through his carelessness. I did however find many people willing to help during this tragedy. Thanks for your support.
