Thank you for calling , I did what Donna said I needed to do to Find Misty at 630 pm I went to the Woods after the rain quit and sat on the hayfield edge and called to her i heard a faint whistle back so i moved to where i could hear her better she was 900 yards from the house in a locust tree 20 foot tall . She is home safe Now thank you so Much for your help 🙂 ————————————— Misty is a Loving Bird Likes Dogs Cats and people , She was on her cage , the screen door was open to hang out wet sheets when she was startled by one of the dogs and flew off . I walked 1/2 mile looking with no luck . I have drove miles and miles looking it happened at 10 am Aug-2-2013…. a few more hours will be 48 hours.  I’m very sick over this I have had my Misty 12 years she is 13 years old, likes to say, Hey , Lets go hunting Shoot the Buck , Karen and Hunter. My girl friend is blaming herself for leaving the door open. I feel the worst. Where I live there are many predators Hawks, Owls Coyotes .
