“It’s official – – Vinnie is home!! Here’s the story:
Vicki LeClaire from Miss Vicki’s Parrot Village posted Vinnie’s 911PA posting on her Facebook page. From there it spread like crazy and here is the final story:
From Jan Granai in North Georgia: Vinnie, the Blue and Gold Macaw from Marietta, Ga who had gone missing is now safe and sound back with his owners thanks to my awesome friend Julie Klein Kilmurry. She found him sitting on the “O” on Kohl’s department store sign in Canton, GA (911 note: 20 miles from home) and rescued him, bare handed, after some crows chased him to the ground. The most exciting part?? Julie has no bird experience whatsoever – – Hooray for Julie!!”

Vinnie is approx. 6 years old and as sweet as the day is long. HIs right foot is banded but it is blank.
