Hello, I placed an ad on Parrot Alert for my daughter’s lost Yellow Parakeet from Dayton Ohio. I wanted to share the great news that Buddy is home. Buddy was rescued by a woman at the Behr factory at the corner of Stanley and Webster in Dayton, 3 weeks ago. He had flown over 8 miles and was outside for 7 days before he decided to land on her shoulder and come in. A friend who was with her saw one of our posters in West Milton and called me. We picked him up this afternoon. He is smaller and wilder but still our Buddy. Buddy was gone for a total of 4 weeks. So this has been a great lesson in keeping up the hope! I am also very glad to report that I have one happy girl!
