Paulie has big brown eyes as pictured and should respond to “pretty Peter – Pretty Paulie” when said with exclamatiog tones!
Since there were hunters in the area shooting guns at the time (which is what spooked him to start with) I believe that one of them found him and took him. Paulie can’t fly non-stop, and would have had to rest every 200 feet or so. The area would have been between Rt 216 also known as Seaks Run Rd, Graydon Road, Godfrey Road, Ridgeview Road and Swamp Road. I would appreciate you returning him to me. Thank you!
DID YOU KNOW – THAT COCKATIELS FLY IN A STRAIGHT LINE?? WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF FINDING SOMEONE WHO HAS A COCKATIEL THATS IN A STRAIGHT LINE DIRECTLY FROM MY HOUSE ONE ROAD OVER — LIKE ON GRAYDON ROAD??? SOMEONE WITH A HUNTING DOG THATS TRAINED TO GUARD???
OH – AND IF THE GAME COMMISSION IS READING THIS – THE HOUSE AT 965 SEAKS RUN ROAD INEXT TO THE ROCKEY RIDGE MOTEL IS CATCHING WILD DUCKS IN THE FALL THROUGH ENTRAPMENT, AND LOADING THEM IN A FOWL TRUCK AND SELLING THEM FOR FOOD. THE DOGS KEEP THE DUCKS FROM FLYING AWAY ONCE THEY LAND. WHEN PAULIE WENT MISSING, I SAW THE DOGS IN ACTION, AND ONE EVEN GRABBED A BLACK RING NECK DUCK BY THE NECK AND SHOOK IT BITING DOWN ON IT UNTIL IT DIED. I MENTIONED THAT TO THE LADY OF THE HOUSE, AND SHE SAID “OH WELL. THAT HAPPENS SOMETIMES.”
