These two parrots were last seen at a Mineola, NY pet store where they were boarded, temporarily,MARCH 15,2009. Store Name: “FOR BIRDS ONLY”, JerichTrnpk.,Mineola. Both parrots had their own individual black metal pet carrier cage: 12’X18″ The Birds saw a vetinarian in Bayville, NY on route 107 on/about March 16,2009 and then went back to the pet store. Thereafter, the birds went missing. Someone has these two birds and we want them returned. The African Grey is a fluent talker/sound reproducer. The SunConure also speaks/dances. Grey has a red tail/Cunure has a full rainbow of colors and blue/yellow/orange tail. Grey band from TN and Conure band from FL. The parrots are both very tame and were well cared for with ALL flight feathers. We have heard many conflicting stories of their whereabouts AND the Long Island Parrot Society HAS NOT BEEN helpful or cooperative in finding these birds.
