June 16-15 still missing Missing Congo African Grey named Ruby, last seen on 1/31/15 at 4:30 PM around Amador Village Apts in Hayward, CA. Call 415-637-5399 FB INFO
My missing parrot, RUBY, is an AFRICAN GREY. She has a RED TAIL, BLACK BEAK, GREY BODY, and RED FLECKS ON her LEGS and UNDER HER WINGS. She weighs about 15 ounces (almost 1 lb), and her head to tail length is roughly 12 inches. Her favorite phrases are “Hey Ruby!” and “Whatcha doin?” She also makes whistling, kissing, laughing, and beeping sounds, and is especially responsive to the “Dew Drops” notification sound on most Android smartphones. She may step up to your hand or a perch/stick, and you may need to catch her in a pillowcase or large towel/cloth (if you don’t have a pet carrier). She may be SCARED, but she is VERY NICE.
She flew away on Saturday, 1/31/15, around 4:30 PM. Despite our efforts, my family and I have not been able to locate her since. The last place we saw her was at the Amador Village Apartments (24080 Amador St., Hayward, CA 94544) where we live, towards the back of the complex. She may have flown over the back fence to the train tracks near the Winton Ave. overpass. We live close to I-880 and the closest cross streets are Amador St. and Winton Ave. However, she could be anywhere in the area, so PLEASE keep a look out and help bring our baby home! A reward will be offered depending for applicable information and leads.
