Very Rare parrot, significant reward for his safe return to the Avian Rehabilitation Center, Micro Chip registered to Robert Eric Kern and Dr Jeff Jenkins Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital, Not very sociable, If spotted please contact the rehab center with location last spotted, do not attempt to rescue if he is high up in the tree canopy. He is completely black with red face patches. Escaped yesterday when staff was transferring birds from sleeping indoor enclosures to the outside flights that all the birds have access to in individualized enclosures. We have also notified the authorities as he is a very valuable parrot and is a HUGE part of our education and outreach events we participate in to help educate the public on all things parrot. Please do not criticize as accidents happen and the staff already feels terrible for the loss. Good news is we have sights on him but can not reach him in the canopy as its is way higher than any ladder we can find to barrow.
