Adi is a white-winged brotogeris parrot. He is olive with a splash of yellow. He also has white feathers that make up his wing-span. He turned 4 years old on May 13th. He will fly to you if you call his name. His wings are not clipped. He is very tame and will “step up” if you ask him to.
We were with our bird Adi at Bachelor’s Grove park forest preserve in Oak Forest IL, corner of 143rd and Oak Park Avenue when he accidentally flew out of our car window. This occurred Friday night, July 21st. We heard him that following Saturday at the same location but he was too high and too camoflauge to be reached or seen. We’ve been returning to the Grove several times a day but have not been able to find him. We love him deeply and are totally distraught. If you have any information about Adi, please contact us.
