Speckles is a rescue and still distrustful of humans due to prior neglect. She got spooked and flew out of our front door when my father came to visit and left it open too wide as he was entering. She has some missing feathers on the back of her neck, although she doesn’t look bald- it just makes her neck area look weird, as if there isn’t a smooth transition between the head and body.

She has and would fly on me for millet, she might do the same for you, and she is a bit opinionated so she might be noisy. She definitely is unlikely to willingly approach someone unless desperate. I like to call her Speckies in a baby-talk voice and she gets excited.

She is around 5 and is such an important part of our family, her mate here at home has been absolutely bonkers since she went missing. Please, PLEASE, help us find her. She is so important to me and I haven’t been able to dream about anything but her since she flew off.

She has no leg band, I don’t know if she was chipped since I rescued her from a coworker. I doubt she is, though.
