RJ was last seen in our neighbors tree on 8/15/19 at 8:30AM. RJ is a smaller parrot that has an orange face/chest, yellow wings and bluish green tail feathers and band on her left leg. I will confirm band number once found. She is not normally afraid of people. She reacts to car alarms and can talk. She was staying high in the trees which was making her hard to see but her distinctive high pitched chirp/scream

UPDATE: Our Sun Conure RJ is still missing. We would like to update the current information that even though we have received a few people that possibly have heard her and 1 possible sighting we could not confirm these and we are now searching at least 20+ miles out and want anyone how may see or hear her to please reach out to us.

UPDATE 10/7/19:  Its been almost 8 weeks since we last saw our RJ and we are so heartbroken that we still have not found her. She has an orange face/chest, yellow wings with bluish/green tail feathers. Band on left leg. Distinctive high pitched chirp/squawk that sounds like an alarm and unlike any other New England bird. There have been a few possible but unconfirmed sightings/hearings. We are hoping as the weather is changing that someone may have her but isn’t  aware that she has been missing and if they are they will contact us. If she is still outside she may be staying near bird feeders or food hunting on the ground. The shared thoughts, prayers and inspiring stories of other bird owners reuniting with their loved ones gives us hope as we continue our search. If anyone thinks they see or hear her please contact us directly. We want to thank all the incredible kindhearted people that have reached out to us. You are all an amazing group of people. RJ’s Family.
