LilJaye (Little – Jay) Is an adult blue budgie, She is female with a pink nose, White-eggshell beak, and is incredibly intelligent. She has a white belly with blue and black stripped feathers. She’s very vocal when she is upset and makes a shrill skreetch that comes in quick bursts. She also has a soft chirp, she is not loud unless provoked or upset. She doesnt eat typical bird food and often goes for the colorfully assortment of seed, the reds, blues, yellows, and greens. She loves millets as a treat. She does not respond well to hands however can be picked up with a stick when followed by the command “Step up” or “Up”. She is not a strong flier but is a strong climber and very very intelligent. She will spend a long time climbing and hovers or flutters her wings in short bursts. She’s a little on the plump side and she plucks her feathers on her stomach when anxious.
