He is a Blue Crown Conure (small parrot), mostly green with a blue head and red under the tail feathers. He also has just a tiny spot of yellow on on of his shoulders.
He can say “what’s up”, “can you say thank you” ,”I love you”, “come on”, can cough, whistle and shake his head “yes” and nod “no”. I think he is banded.
He flew the coop in the Mill Park area of Milwaukie on SE Linwood Ave. near Johnson Creek on Thursday, 10/11/18. He was heard squawking loudly in a cedar tree between the park & Johnson Creek Blvd. on Friday afternoon, 10/12/18. No squawking on Saturday afternoon, 10/13/18.
