Hello,
I am a licensed falconer and my male American Kestrel flew off during one of our daily exercise flights at the Ed Tallen Park off of Airport Road in Middleton. He is wearing anklets with tiny yellow strings trailing from his legs as well as a USFWS black band. If you see him can you please respond with a picture and the location you saw him? You may be able to get him to fly to you if you hold your hand up and whistle (you may want to wear a gardening glove). Then move slowly in to grab the strings and please call the DNR to report his recovery and they can get in contact with me. The DNR number to contact is 888-936-7463.

Thank you so much. I am very worried about him.
