Hi . Opal was my bird. Sadly she passed away before my sister got there to pick her up. She was very weak. No sign of blood. I appreciate this network and all of you who took the time to help us try and find her.
I put them in a large cage in the back of my car because I thought it was too hot for the carrier. I was transferring her into the carrier when she flew .
Her wings were clipped but she flew high like on eagle on the current right down the middle of cottage grove road toward the lake. She was found off Dempsey near Buckeye. She a lovely sweet spirit. Azure and I will miss her,
Opal is a soft pastel blue, with some dark spots on her wings. She has a band on her leg but I do not know the numbers. We are in touch with her breeder. He may have the information. She is tame but does not step up. She talks quite a bit. Favorite phrases are Quaker, woody, and goodnight. She is used to being handled. She has a significant other named Azure. They are very bonded. He is missing her very much.
