Pecky is 8 years old and has been with us almost the whole time. We usually kept his wings clipped to keep him safe as he is usually out of his cage freely in our home. This time he was able to fly out the front door over my head, and immediately was chased by a few crows in our neighborhood. I tried to give chase to scare away the crows but lost him over the neighbor’s fence. He is very healthy and good-natured, friendly. I hope someone has found him and taken him in out of the cold weather. I’ve been calling him as I go over the roads nearby and he isn’t answering so that tells me he is either not in the immediate vicinity (half mile radius or more) or ?? Pecky may have some feathers missing on his chest. He talks and says his name, along with a few words. He says “Pecky Boy” a lot. He is not banded. We love him very much and want him back home.
