Koko is 24 years old. She will call and respond to many common African Grey calls, sounds and affectations. She frequently meows, makes the ‘finger-in-cheek’ mouth sound, and sometimes when she feels left out will bellow…”hello?!”
She is friendly and will step onto your right hand at the command “step up” if approached calmly. She is inclined towards men but I imagine that scared, lonely and cold she’ll know a kind man or woman.
She has never escaped or even flown until last night when she was on her perch on the back porch and took off…flying from roof top to roof top and was last spotted flying into a ridge of trees in the Woodridge area of Bellevue.
