We are offering a $1000 reward to anyone that helps us recover Shirbie. She is banded. If you have her or see her, please call us. If your sighting leads to her recovery, you will have our gratitude as well as the reward. If we can find her, she will come to us. She roams the house freely. She got outside and was carried off by the wind in the hills above San Jose before we could talk her down. We have only a very general idea where she might have come down as she was very high up once she got over the valley. We have been searching from 4:30 am on for the last two days in the area we think she might be, but we cannot find her. Based on height and direction as she was carried away, we expect she is somewhere in the Evergreen area or to the North our South. But she definitely went East and somewhat South from Nieman and Yerba Beuna. She’s full flighted but has no outside experience. She’s very dear to our family and we are all crying over her.
