June 7-15 UPDATE  As many of you may have seen or heard, we lost our miniature macaw, Casey, about 4 weeks ago and apparently she’s been living behind Abberly Place for much of the time since (the side closer to the woods and cinemas). We didn’t get the tip until tues eve the 2nd, and unfortunately, it’s been gray and rainy since. Parrots tend to hunker down and stay quiet when it’s rainy. If you can, please keep and eye and ear out for her, and call us IMMEDIATELY if you hear or see her, we would be very grateful. Please call (or text) 919-827-8309 and i will get back to you as soon as possible if i don’t pick up right away. Best thing you can do after you call is to try to call to her and engage her so you can keep an eye on where she is. She loves food – if you want to try to feed her, she likes fruit, nuts, and adores cheese – but only a dime sized piece, please (birds don’t make lactase to digest milk products). Don’t chase her but if she steps up for you, tuck her under your shirt and get her in a contained area like a car or apt. We’ll come and get her very fast. You may get bitten; we will pay for any medical bills she causes. There is a reward being offered for her safe return! Thank you all so much!!

Casey has been with our family for 10+ years and we miss her terribly. She’s very vocal and talks. Last date seen/heard was on 5/13/15 near Aversboro Road and Poole Drive in Garner. She is predominantly green but may well appear yellowish if in flight. If you have information about her whereabouts, or find evidence that she’s deceased, please contact us. We would dearly love to get her back, or know what happened to her. A generous reward is being offered for her safe return. No questions asked.
