Neighbors in the Mirrormont neighborhood (south of Issaquah, WA) adjacent to the Tiger Mountain trailhead, reported on Monday, May 28 they saw someone release something from a pet carrier and when they investigated there was a macaw up in a tree. The bird flew off deeper into the woods soon after. Neighbors have posted signs and are spreading the word. Does anyone have suggestions on what more can be done to locate and rescue this macaw?
