My bird flew away last night

I had a cockatie. He flew a way yesterday the only concern that I have now is if he still alive or no. Can this weather cause him a death?! What about the wind?! He is really friendly is there any chance that someone may have found him yesterday?! I’m loosing my mind thinking about how he left I’m still in a shock.
